Brussels Airlines Launches Flights to Kilimanjaro

Brussels Airlines has announced the launch of direct flights to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. The airline said in a press release that the inaugural flight will take place from Brussels on June 3, 2026.

Passengers will enjoy two flights a week aboard the Airbus A330-300 aircraft that offers 288 seats across the business class, premium economy class and economy class. The 9 hour flights will be every Wednesday and Saturday.

While one of the flights will be directly from Brussels (BRU) to Kilimanjaro (JRO), the second flight will go through the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO).

Returning flights will always go through Nairobi to Brussels, with return tickets starting from 519 Euros.

Brussels Airlines currently lands in 4 cities across East Africa, with Kilimanjaro making the fifth destination.  Current destinations are Entebbe (Uganda), Kigali (Rwanda), Bujumbura (Burundi), and Nairobi (Kenya).

This will also boost the airline’s network to sub-Saharan Africa region bringing its total destinations to 18.
