flydubai has announced the launch of its first ever direct flights from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi.
Beginning October 15, 2025, the four times a week service will operate from Terminal 3, to Dubai International (DXB). The carrier made the announcement on September 17.
The Nairobi flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. They will depart Dubai at 1:30 pm and arrive at 5:55 pm EAT, with return flights leaving at 6:55 pm and landing in Dubai at 1:20 am EAT.
Return fares start at AED 1,700 (current exchange rate KES 60,000) in economy class lite and AED 4,500 (KES 159,000) in business class from Dubai. You will pay while Nairobi-origin fares begin at USD 500 in economy class and USD 2,000 in business class from Nairobi.
flydubai which has been operating from Mombasa since 2004 operating 4 weekly flights. It has now increased its flights at the Moi International Airport to daily. The carrier will therefore have a total of 11 flights from Kenya to Dubai each week.

The airline now serves 12 destinations in Africa, which are Alexandria, Addis Ababa, Al Alamein (as a seasonal summer route), Asmara, Cairo, Dar es Salaam, Djibouti, Entebbe, Hargeisa, Mombasa, Zanzibar. and now Nairobi.
