Flynas Launches Direct Flights from Nairobi to Riyadh

Flynas has on October 3 launched direct flights from Nairobi to Riyadh.

The Saudi Exchange listed low-cost airline will work in collaboration with Kenya Airways as the official ground handling partner.

The inaugural flight in the early morning came just a few days after another middle Eastern airline flydubai made their launch at the JKIA.

The are not the only airlines to launch at the NBO this year, as competition heats up.

The launch event was graced by H.E. Khalid Saeed Al Zahrani, The Deputy Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Kenya, alongside other diplomatic representatives, underscoring the strategic importance of this collaboration.

Kenya Airways Head of Ground Operations, John Nalianya, emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering world-class services that enhance connectivity between Kenya and Saudi Arabia.

Flynas began its operations in 2007 and currently boasts a 65-aircraft fleet, operating more than 2000 weekly flights across 139 routes.

The flights serve more than 70 domestic flights in Saudi Arabia as well as international destinations in 30 countries.
