Kenya Airways and Virgin Atlantic have entered into an interline agreement with that will provide greater convenience to customers.
Under the agreement, Kenya Airways will extend its reach in the US, the Caribbean, and Israel via London.
In a stamen released by Kenya Airways, customers flying to London will be able to connect with Virgin Atlantic-operated flights to Boston, Washington, Atlanta, Austin, Miami, Orlando, Las Vegas, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Antigua, Barbados, The Bahamas, Jamaica, Grenada, and Tel Aviv among others.
The agreement further enables Virgin Atlantic passengers to book a through ticket to Nairobi and enjoy seamless connections to Kenya Airways destinations across Africa including Tanzania, Uganda, Seychelles, Mauritius, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Madagascar among others.
The agreement expands travel options for air passengers who use the two airlines to navigate. Kenya Airways recently started carrying cargo on behalf of the South African Airways. It also has direct flights from Nairobi to New York.
Despite financial constraints that has seen it receive massive bailouts year in year out, Kenya Airways continues to survive and hopes to live up to its Pride of Africa motto.
